What kind of information do we collect?
We collect and use your information below to provide our services and to measure and improve our services from time to time.
Registration: Our services are primarily designed to help you to register as a society member to your society and help you to select your status as a member and other services. Most of the information you provide us is information required by your society only and is considered as private.
Links: GUARANT International may keep track of how you interact with our services, including our third-party services, and client applications, by redirecting clicks or through other means. We do this to help improve our services, to provide easy access to your membership, and to be able to share aggregate statistics such as the frequency of a particular link being clicked on.
Google Analytics: We will also install Google Analytics in the membership system to collect your behaviors in using our services. We will also recommend some other services that may be suitable or appeal to you based on our analysis.
Log Data: When you use our membership system, we may receive information ("Log Data") such as your IP address, device information (including device and application IDs) and search terms. GUARANT International uses Log Data to provide, understand, and improve our services.
How do we use this information?
We use all of the information we have to help us provide and support our services. Here’s how:
- We are able to deliver our services, personalize content, and make suggestions for you by using this information to understand how you use and interact with our services and the society you’re connected to and interested in on and off our services.
- We conduct surveys and research, test features in development, and analyze the information we have to evaluate and improve products and services, develop new products or features, and conduct audits and troubleshooting activities.
- We use your information to send you marketing communications, communicate with you about our services and your societie´s plans and activities and let you know about our policies and terms. We also use your information to respond to you when you contact us.
We use the information we have to help verify accounts and activity, and to promote safety and security on and off of our services, such as by investigating suspicious activity or violations of our terms or policies. We work hard to protect your account using automated systems and advanced technology.
How is this information shared?
We do not disclose your private personal information except in the limited circumstances described here.
Your Consent: We may share or disclose your information at your direction, such as when you authorize a third-party web client or application to access your membership account.
Our default setting is always to make the information you provide private. This includes any information that you provide like your permanent and working address, your profession, areas of interest, age and any other personal information including photos, diplomas, certificates etc.
Sharing with third-party partners: We work with third party companies who help us provide and improve our services such as mass mailing, survey, newsletters, e-voting systems. We share only necessary data on „need to know” basis and on same strict conditions for privacy.
How can I manage or delete information about me?
You can manage the content and information you share when you log in the Membership management system ClaudIn and go to your personal account.
We store data for as long as it is necessary to provide products and services to you and others, including those described above. Information associated with your account will be kept until your account is deleted, unless we no longer need the data to provide products and services for financial purposes.
You may cancel your membership according the rules and bylaws of your society, in such case we deactivate your account accordingly.
Your rights are protected by Law of the Czech Republic, namely by Czech personal information protection act 101/2000 Sb. and we are preparing future version of this document which will be compliant to EU General Data Protection Regulation (http://www.eugdpr.org).
