GUARANT Int. signed a CORE PCO contract for an international microfinance conference

GUARANT International signed a longterm Core PCO contract with the Microfinance Centre (MFC) regarding the organization of their Annual Conference.

The longterm contract is a follow-up of our successful management of the 14th MFC Annual Conference held in Prague in 2011. The Prague conference attracted almost 450 delegates from Europe, Central Asia and North America.

Immediately after meeting in Prague, we launched negotiations on future conferences, resulting in a longterm Core PCO agreement. The 15th MFC Conference will take place in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, between May 29 – 30, 2012. Conference destinations for the years to come will be announced shortly.

Microfinance is a specific type of financial support of small businesses that cannot receive help from traditional banks. Its most recognized and powerful product is microcredit, a small loan offered by Microfinance Institutions (MFIs) to people in need.  This money often allows people to invest in small business, make themselves self-employed and break the chain of poverty.
