MCI PRAGUE

We established a joint venture with the Swiss company MCI on the 24th of October, 2006, under the name MCI Prague.

MCI Prague is focused on specific areas of conference and incentive tourism in the Central and Eastern Europe region (CEE). This joint venture will benefit from the experience of both partners and from our strengths, which have come about as a result of our existing operations in this dynamic market.

“We have worked with MCI since 2000. To date, we have focused on providing services in the Central and Eastern European region while in contrast, MCI operates mainly in Western Europe and is developing its activities in the USA and Asia. With the globalization of the market we have decided to combine our strengths in these specific segments of the market,” said Karel Procházka, Managing Director of GUARANT International.

The joint venture - MCI Prague - will provide services not only in the corporate market but also to associations, which will be offered a complete service package, known as Association Management. MCI Prague is preparing a range of congress services for the whole MCI Group as well as for selected clientele from large associations. GUARANT´s participation in the project includes extending the standard of services and passing on our regional know-how. With our help, the Prague branch of MCI has access to CEE markets and the opportunity to establish a low-cost service centre.
